Pathology Divisions
The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is comprised of two divisions, Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, with several subspecialty/focus areas associated with each.
Anatomic Pathology Division Subspecialties
The Division of Anatomic Pathology provides expert consultative diagnostic services in surgical pathology and cytopathology and in a range of subspecialties, including hematopathology, neuropathology, gastrointestinal pathology, renal pathology, breast pathology, gynecologic/genitourinary pathology, head and neck pathology and ophthalmic pathology.
Clinical Pathology Division Subspecialties
The Clinical Pathology Division is home to faculty experts in clinical chemistry, cytogenetics and genomics, hematology/coagulation, histocompatibility/immunogenetics, medical microbiology, molecular pathology and blood banking/transfusion medicine.
