Financial Support
PhD students in the School of Medicine are fully supported by their PI inclusive of tuition/fees/stipend/Non-Resident Supplemental Tuition (NRST). The Office of Graduate Studies also offers financial support for conference travel/presentation and incentivizes submission and award of individual external fellowships.

A national advocacy organization championing the interests of women in STEM across all disciplines and employment sectors, AWIS@UCI graduate students and postdoctoral researchers organize local professional development and outreach events.
GPS-STEM is a career and professional development program for MS, PhD students and Postdoctoral fellows in STEM.
Support the OncoSlayers team as a leader, volunteer or participant. Create events such as hikes, art auctions, plant/bake sales. The goal is to support UCI Cancer Research Institute (CRI) work to understand cancer through scientific research and aim to alleviate the burden of cancer. Proceeds go to lifesaving research at the UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
SOM SPAC engages in matters affecting the community and wellness of students and postdocs. This council, led by students and postdocs, is mentored by the Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Studies.
REMIND is led by predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees to encourage collaboration among the next generation of scientists and clinicians and promote community outreach and education on neurodegenerative diseases.
