The dinners are hosted and sponsored by Anteater alumni volunteers either in their homes or a local restaurant. Over dinner, volunteers and students engage in casual and friendly conversation about their UCI experiences, personal journeys, career goals and more. This is a new tradition feeding the minds and bodies of over 50 students in each series. To host a UCI Med Dinner with Docs, fill out the form below. The Anteater Network is UCI's new digital mentorship platform that lets you connect with students in an easy and impactful way. Through this, you have the opportunity to share your insight by making one-time or long-term connections with students. You can connect through video chat, direct message, phone, or in person and customize your experience based on your availability by uploading your schedule. We are happy to announce the launch of the Medicine & Discovery Network within the platform. This dedicated space is a unique place for our School of Medicine alumni and students from all programs to connect with each other, share opportunities, and ask industry-specific questions. As an alum, you can also signify in your profile if you are interested in connecting with students while they are out on resident interviews! PACE 1 takes place from February through May with students return for PACE 2 from August through December. These students have protected time on Wednesdays to attend a half day of clinic. As a thank you to our Preceptors, you will receive the following: UCI Volunteer Faculty Appointment Access to UCI Library Services Eligibility for 15 CME Category 1 credits during PACE 1 and an additional 15 CME Category 1 credits during PACE 2 To get involved, email medicalschoolalumni@uci.edu to be connected with the Program Director.
