The seminar series provides continuing updates on the various disciplines of pathology, with an emphasis on the clinical applications of current research, experimental pathology and the role of the laboratory in specific areas of patient care. Technological developments and new diagnostic testing methodologies are also addressed. The target audience includes UCI faculty and physicians, community pathologists and the professional and technical staff at the UCI pathology laboratories. Unless otherwise noted, all sessions are held: The second Thursday of the month, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., in various locations in person and online. UCI Campus, Tamkin Student Lecture Building, Bldg. #831, Room F108, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., on the fourth Monday of each month. Experimental Pathology Conference Series The department also hosts an Experimental Pathology Conference Series, an ongoing continuing education program for faculty, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and laboratory staff. The program features a series of conferences targeting research issues. Conferences take place at the UCI School of Medicine Campus in the Thorpe Conference Center, 4th floor, Gross Hall on the last Monday of the month at 11 a.m.
