The laboratory is accredited by the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and the American Association for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI). Trainees will be involved in test procedures, including: HLA typing by NGS, SSO, gRT-PCR KIR typing by SSO, gRT-PCR Anti-HLA antibody testing multiplex bead array (Luminex) Crossmatch testing flow cytometry Disease association testing, including A29, B27, B5 (B51 and B52), narcolepsy and celiac panel Drug sensitivity testing (abacavir, carbamazepine) Chimerism testing (NGS) Pathology Residency Program Our fully-accredited Pathology Residency program provides comprehensive training in anatomic and clinical pathology.
