The lab offers a wide range of molecular techniques, including, among others, quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR), multiplex PCR, reverse transcription PCR, genotyping, methylation analysis, capillary electrophoresis, microsatellite instability analysis and next-generation DNA sequencing. Trainees will be involved: Molecular oncology testing for solid and hematologic malignancies Inherited disorder testing Pharmacogenomic testing Education & Training Educational opportunities for the Molecular Pathology subspecialty include medical student elective rotations, residency training, fellowship training and the clinical laboratory scientist program. Pathology Residency Program Our fully-accredited Pathology Residency program provides comprehensive training in anatomic and clinical pathology. Explore Our Residency Program Hematopathology Fellowship Program The Hematopathology Fellowship is designed to provide comprehensive training in diagnostic hematopathology and laboratory hematology. Explore Our Fellowship Program Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Program The year-long post-baccalaureate certificate program in clinical laboratory science provides a learning environment in which students can acquire the academic knowledge, technical skills, professional behaviors and critical thinking necessary to become proficient medical technologists.
