Rehab Academic and Mentorship Program (RAMP) Home Education Department Programs Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation: Education & Training > Rehab Academic and Mentorship Program (RAMP) An Enriching Training Experience The UCI Rehab Academic and Mentorship Program (RAMP) is a two-week intensive program for undergraduate students interested in rehabilitation services as a career, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. This program aims to provide students with an enriching experience that includes shadowing therapists in various settings, participating in lectures on essential rehabilitation topics and preparing for graduate school application with guided mentorship. The program allows students to develop a stronger understanding of therapy and its role in the healthcare system while building connections at a world-class teaching hospital. 2025 Program Details Schedule The program will be held Monday through Friday, June 16-27, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost The cost of the program is $75 for two weeks. Accepted students will also be responsible for fees associated with onboarding (vaccination, Live Scan, etc.) and parking. Location UCI Medical Center 101 The City Drive South, Orange, CA 92868 Eligibility The ideal candidate for this program will meet the following criteria: Currently enrolled in a four-year university (sophomores and juniors preferred). Minimum 3.3 GPA. Motivated and eager to learn about rehabilitation disciplines. Volunteer experience in a hospital setting is a plus, but not required.
