The Division of Surgical Oncology offers trainees a rich educational experience in the treatment of many common malignancies. In addition to our high-volume melanoma program, our experienced surgical oncologists specialize in thyroid and parathyroid cancer, breast cancer and sarcoma.

Incoming candidates will have completed an approved general surgery residency and be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. The fellowship program provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary training and rich surgical experience in complex open and minimally invasive oncologic resections. Some of the key highlights include cytoreduction and HIPEC surgeries, sarcoma resections and minimally invasive foregut and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeries. Along with the clinical and technical experience, fellows are exposed to the latest clinical trials and basic science research.
