Our division is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with disorders of the upper gastrointestinal tract as part of the Comprehensive Digestive Disease Center at UCI. Our expert surgeons are fellowship-trained in the surgical management of foregut disease. We provide an evidence-based approach to patient care using the latest in surgical techniques to provide minimally invasive options for the entire spectrum of benign and malignant diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract.

In addition to diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract, our surgeons are passionate providers of surgical interventions for obesity and metabolic disease.
