Program Overview Curriculum The program’s first-year curriculum includes eight months of pediatric surgery and one month each of NICU, PICU, otolaryngology and urology. The second year consists of 12 months of pediatric surgery. Clinical Rotations Fellows will spend the majority of their time at CHOC, rotating in the NICU, PICU, ENT and Urology units. Research Fellows are encouraged to advance their academic interests by availing themselves of the program’s strong institutional support for research, which includes biostatisticians, research coordinators and support staff.
