Biostatistics Support at UCI
Biostatistics provides the means to rigorously evaluate data obtained through biomedical research, including basic and clinical research. UCI offers biostatistical support in numerous ways.

Cancer Related Research
If you are conducting research related to cancer, contact the Biostatistics Shared Resource (BSR), a resource provided by the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Non-cancer Related Research
If you are conducting research that is not related to cancer, contact the Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD). The first hour of consulting at BERD is free.
Dr. Joni Ricks-Oddie serves as the director for both the BERD and the Center for Statistical Consulting (CSC), ensuring communication and continuity between these facilities. Your request will be routed to the most appropriate team.
UCI Center for Statistical Consulting Workshops
This is where the recordings and documentation of workshops (Stata, etc) are posted.
Statistical Software and Computing Resources
UCI Office of Technology provides access to statistical software packages such as MATLAB and SPSS through campus licenses or computer labs. Additionally, computing resources, including high-performance computing clusters, may be available to support computationally intensive analyses in biostatistics research.
UCI Libraries Resources
The UCI Libraries provide access to a wide range of software for data analysis and online resources.
SOM-ICTS Master of Science in Biomedical and Translational Science Program (MS-BATS)
