In honor of 25 years of Plexus serving as a creative outlet for our community, Navigate serves as a timely invitation to reflect on the distances we have traversed, appreciate where we currently stand and envision the journey that lies ahead. REFLECT & NAVIGATE FORWARD Plexus 2025: Momentum Whether it’s the persistence of a heartbeat, the individual steps that accumulate into seismic shifts, or the tidal surge of collective efforts, momentum surrounds us! It’s the wave of progress, the rush of breakthroughs, and the everyday moments that coalesce into transformative change — the flows, eddies, and vectors that define our lives and serve as the undercurrents to our stories, waiting to be expressed and shared. We invite you to explore the theme of Momentum — as a force that shapes our journeys in medicine, heralds change and promises a brighter future. What moves you? What is your way forward? What fans your spark into a roaring blaze? What forces fuel your progress? What moments energize your career in medicine? Bring us your dynamic reflections by submitting your works of art!" Additionally, being immersed in the field continues to develop my communication skills as well as empathy. In my future career, I hope to build on these skills and create a trusting relationship with my patients, leading to better treatment outcomes. Lastly, engaging with the humanities and the arts has served as a source of stress relief from school, and provided me with an outlet for creativity and self-expression, preventing burnout and maintaining my mental well-being. -Celina Yang, GR1 (MSTP)
