MD Student Electives

The Department of Family Medicine offers several electives covering a range of subjects, including family medicine, geriatrics, sports medicine, integrative medicine and gender diversity. Electives may be two- or four-week rotations and are open to UCI and visiting medical students. Please note that these rotations are not available to international students.

Residency

The three-year residency is a hybrid program that combines both community and academic education in a range of clinical settings from hospitals to family practices and outreach clinics, treating diverse populations, including the underserved and disadvantaged.
