We are dedicated to training the nation's best-prepared pediatricians. Our residency programs, with major affiliations at Children's Health of Orange County (CHOC) and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital, offer unparalleled access to two free-standing children's hospitals. This unique environment fosters collaboration with a diverse team of professionals, including community physicians, researchers and health policy leaders.

We prepare medical students for a variety of pediatric careers, from primary care to translational research. We also offer a robust selection of postdoctoral fellowships and are actively expanding our educational reach with plans for advanced degree programs.

Clerkship: HEARTi Program

In partnership with the UCI/CHOC Pediatric Residency Program, we have created the Health Equity, Anti-Racism, Trauma-informed care (HEARTi) program, a unique opportunity that complements existing elective clerkships offered to fourth-year medical students. As part of the clinical rotations, there will be a focus on health equity, anti-racism and trauma-informed clinical care.
