Training the Next Generation of Pediatric Cardiologists
The Division of Cardiology is proud to have world-class, compassionate faculty physicians who train the pediatric cardiologists of tomorrow while providing a full range of leading-edge pediatric cardiology care for children throughout Orange and south Los Angeles counties.
Our clinic in Orange delivers expert clinical care in a warm, caring environment for all children with known or suspected heart disease — beginning with prenatal care, continuing through infancy, childhood and adolescence, then transitioning into adulthood. Blending complete cardiovascular care with strong education programs means better healthcare outcomes for today’s children.
Along with our comprehensive outpatient services, we provide inpatient care in the UCI NICU, Children’s Hospital of Orange County — which has a dedicated cardiovascular intensive care unit — and other hospitals in surrounding communities.
Many of the division’s faculty are actively engaged in research on a range of pediatric cardiology conditions, developing new treatments and tools to improve the care of pediatric cardiology patients in Orange County and beyond.
