While working at the New York Proton Center, Liu studied proton FLASH radiotherapy and developed an interest in patient treatment verification and quality assurance. Then, at City of Hope, she worked with online adaptive planning workflows. While at UCI, Liu plans to continue her studies in FLASH radiotherapy and novel treatment techniques using the cutting-edge technologies BrainLab and Ethos now available at UCI. In her free time, Liu enjoys snowboarding and traveling.
