Dr. Jeremy Harris’ investigator-initiated clinical trial for sarcoma patients is now open

The Department or Radiation Oncology is excited to announce the activation of a trial only available at UCI: “Pembrolizumab combined with radiotherapy for metastatic sarcoma.” Based on Dr. Jeremy Harris’ research, this original study is a single-arm clinical trial determining the feasibility of combination treatments, pembrolizumab and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SBRT) in subjects with soft-tissue sarcoma for patients who have metastatic disease initially, or recurrent or progressive disease that is not eligible for curative surgery.
