Medicine in Movies | New Life: Contagion Narratives
The Medical Humanities Student Interest Group (HUMIG) and the Medical Humanities and Arts Program (MHAP) invite you to attend a screening of John Rossman’s "New Life" (2023), which will be followed by a discussion on the role of media and politics in healthcare, chronic and acute health conditions, and additional medical themes in the film. School of Medicine Night at the New Swan Shakespeare Theatre
Join the UCI School of Medicine Community for a special night at the New Swan Theatre. Enjoy a unique performance of Bard’s comic masterpiece “Twelfth Night, or What You Will,” which blends romance, music, poetry, swordplay, mistaken identities and the intoxicating madness of love. Join us for a transcendent tale on the edge of the high seas. Medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty are welcome. Registration is required to attend.

Art of Diagnosis Symposium
The Department of Family Medicine's Medical Humanities and Arts Program (MHAP) invites you to celebrate student art focused on implicit bias and diagnostic medicine. This event aims to promote awareness of thoughts, attitudes, and feelings surrounding diagnoses — for both patients and physicians. The evening will include a keynote speaker, creative workshops and a reception for student artists.
