The White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage for medical students. This is the commitment ceremony for incoming students to share with family and friends as they become doctors-in-training. During the ceremony, a white coat is placed on each student's shoulders, and they recite the Hippocratic Oath as they begin their medical profession journey.
The ceremony is a ticketed event for invited guests. Students will receive an email from the Admissions Office with instructions for registering for the event and requesting tickets.
If you are a UCI faculty or staff member and wish to attend this event, please contact the event organizer. They can provide ticket and guest parking information.
Students should use their Applicant Portal to request the registration link or send questions about the event. They may also email the event organizer to request tickets.
