Every day, millions of Americans struggle to access mental healthcare. Your partnership with UC Irvine's Train New Trainers Primary Care Fellowships transforms this reality— creating a cascade effect that reaches communities most in need of mental health expertise.

Each fellowship costs $15,500 and equips a dedicated and uniquely trained clinician to serve hundreds of under-resourced patients annually.

  • Most providers receive minimal formal training in mental health care.

Yet most providers receive minimal formal training in mental health care.

How Love Becomes Purpose

When Guity Javid lost her daughter Negeen, she and her husband created the Negeen Foundation to honor her memory and focus on helping children struggling with anxiety. As part of the foundation's mission to support evidence-based mental health solutions, they chose to fund TNT's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry track, ensuring healthcare providers receive specialized training to better serve young people. "I'd like to see a world where children thrive and children don't have to suffer," Javid shares. This is how love becomes impact, and how one family's generosity creates ripples of healing for thousands.

When someone finally reaches out for help with mental health challenges, they should receive it immediately—not months later when their condition has worsened.

Your investment in the TNT Fellowship ensures that more primary care providers can deliver expert mental healthcare where it's needed most. Each provider you support will:

  • Treat hundreds of patients annually with new skills
  • Train colleagues in their practice, multiplying your impact
  • Reduce wait times for mental health services
  • Prevent crises through early intervention
  • Serve communities with the greatest needs
