Through specialized training, fellows develop the skills to: Recognize Identify common reproductive behavioral health conditions affecting women from adolescence to later adulthood. Assess Develop skills to perform targeted primary care reproductive psychiatry assessments and evaluate clinical presentations and risk factors for women. Manage Apply evidence-informed approaches to support the treatment of maternal behavioral health conditions in primary care and women's health settings. Advancing Women’s Mental Health Discover MBH, a nine-month hybrid fellowship equipping health professionals with practical skills to address reproductive psychiatry across a woman’s lifespan. Discover MBH At a Glance A nine-month CME certificate program equips health professionals with advanced skills in maternal behavioral health and integrated care. Training Experience Flexible Hybrid Format: Through case-based education, interactive learning and expert mentorship, fellows gain practical skills to integrate behavioral health care into women's health settings. Expert Faculty: Training is led by nationally recognized faculty with expertise in psychiatry, primary care, obstetrics and women's health. Curriculum Focus Comprehensive Women's Behavioral Health: The curriculum spans the full continuum of women's behavioral health, with a focus on prevention, early identification and treatment of mental health conditions from adolescence through pregnancy, postpartum, midlife and later adulthood. Behavioral Health Access: Emphasis is placed on improving access to care and addressing the unique needs of women. Eligibility & Learning Outcomes Eligibility Open to multidisciplinary health professionals caring for women across the lifespan, including behavioral health professionals, community health professionals, doulas, emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, midwives, nurses, obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatricians, pharmacists, psychiatrists, women’s health professionals, MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, PharmDs and other qualified licensed healthcare professionals. What You Will Learn Through this fellowship, clinicians gain practical skills to: Recognition & Assessment: Recognize early symptoms of common reproductive psychiatric conditions in women and complete targeted primary care psychiatric assessments. Women's Mental Health Care: Diagnose and treat reproductive behavioral health conditions affecting women across all life stages. Evidence-Informed Treatment: Provide evidence-informed interventions using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, motivational interviewing and appropriate medications.
