*Residents must obtain a letter of recommendation from their residency director.

The course format is the same across all three fellowships:

• Attend two in-person conferences
• Attend live webinars twice a month (2 hours)
• Participate in monthly virtual mentorship meetings (1 hour per month)
• Complete all educational outcome surveys

The monthly time commitment is approximately three hours per month (two virtual webinars and one monthly mentorship meeting), aside from the two in-person conferences, which take place at the beginning and midpoint of the fellowship. There are also various opportunities for additional mentorship through our Open Office Hours.

The curriculum is designed for busy providers to allow them to participate in “off-clinic” hours. In-person conferences are on Friday/Saturday, and monthly live webinars and mentorship sessions are during lunch or after clinic hours. The Open Office hours are offered on different days and times to help accommodate and/or supplement mentorship.

Each in-person conference spans two days, from Friday to Saturday, and typically takes place in Southern California. The agenda features a series of lectures, interactive case studies and “Stump the Experts” panels. Conference registration is included in your tuition; however, fellows are responsible for covering their travel expenses (flights, lodgings, transportation, etc). Fellows may earn up to 15 CME credits per conference.

Applications are generally reviewed within two weeks of submission. Applications close on October 31, 2025, for the 2026 Cohort.

No; TNT Fellowships are neither an ACGME-accredited program nor a Board Certification for Primary Care Psychiatry, Primary Care Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Primary Care Addiction Medicine. The fellowships are an interprofessional certificate program for improved access to behavioral health care. The year-long clinical education certificate programs are intended for primary-care-oriented trainees and providers interested in advanced primary care behavioral health training.
