Why UCI? Growing up in Orange County, I hoped to one day return to my hometown and serve the community that helped raise me. During my fourth year of medical school, I was fortunate to do an away rotation here and was immediately impressed by the exceptional clinical training, strong mentorship and supportive culture at UCI. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and genuinely enthusiastic about teaching. Interview day further solidified that unparalleled sense of camaraderie, which felt like being part of a larger family. I am beyond excited to join this brilliant team of physicians and begin this next chapter in my training.
