Why UCI? UCI has always stood out to me, as it is a well-recognized academic institution, a busy Level I Trauma Center and is located near the California coast. I was lucky enough to rotate at UCI as a medical student and found the faculty and residents to be incredibly enthusiastic, confident and ultimately a group of people whom I really enjoyed spending time with.
