The UCI/CHOC Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship is a three-year, ACGME-accredited training program that aims to develop outstanding pediatric hematologists and oncologists who will also serve as the next generation of innovators and leaders in the field.
The fellowship program is clinically based at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, a large, standalone children’s hospital with its own pediatric emergency room, a wide range of pediatric subspecialties, a large pediatric residency program of nearly 30 residents per year and several pediatric subspecialty fellowship programs, including critical care, endocrinology, infectious diseases, hospital medicine and emergency medicine.
Salary & Benefits
Fellows are paid according to the university/hospital pay scale for trainees based on their post-graduate year. This salary is competitive and considers the cost of living in Southern California. Visit the UCI GME website for more information about salary and benefits.
