Breast Pathology

The Breast Pathology faculty experts at UCI School of Medicine provide outstanding diagnostic services and specialized testing for patients with benign and malignant breast conditions. Our pathologists provide expert interpretation of breast biopsies, fine needle aspirations, lumpectomies and mastectomies. We also provide specialized laboratory testing, including immunohistochemistry and molecular studies, for all newly diagnosed, recurrent and metastatic breast cancers.

Educational opportunities for the Breast Pathology subspecialty include conferences, residency training and a surgical pathology fellowship.
