Excellent undergraduate research opportunities are available in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics with participating faculty are available through the BioSci 199 program. These courses are designed and tailored for individual study, training, and research, for undergraduates. Students perform supervised training in the laboratories of faculty mentors.

Research awards and funding are also available through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) for Research Experience Fellowships, Interdisciplinary Research Teams, Summer Undergraduate Research Programs, and Travel or Publication awards.
