News & Events: Renovations in the Student Lounge at the UCI Medical Center

Renovations have officially begun at the medical student lounge in Building 53 at the UCI Medical Center. As a result of constructive feedback from our clinical year students and joint support from Dean Stamos and UCI Health leadership, the lounge will have a larger footprint for study and relaxation spaces with new furniture, power options and lighting. There will also be new paint, flooring, window coverings and lockers to give the lounge a complete refresh. The lounge will remain open during renovation which is expected to complete in just over a month. More details about these renovations can be found in the latest Medical Education newsletter.

Follow the Zot Quality Improvements in the monthly Medical Education newsletter for additional updates that support our students.
