Our division is comprised of clinical faculty who are board-certified musculoskeletal radiologists subspecialized in the diagnosis, monitoring and minimally invasive treatment of orthopaedic diseases; subspecialty fellows in musculoskeletal radiology; resident physicians; and medical students.

We work in close communication and consultation with many departments, including the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Department of Medicine, to help diagnose and guide patients toward healing and recovery. We also collaborate with medical researchers in musculoskeletal diseases.

Musculoskeletal Imaging & Intervention Fellowship

The Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship is a comprehensive one-year program that provides a strong educational experience in all facets of diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal radiology.

A patient undergoes an MRI or CT scan under the supervision of a radiologist in the control room.

Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship

This one-year fellowship, offered in partnership with the VA Long Beach Medical Center, provides experience in image-guided interventional orthopaedic procedures, including arthrography, joint aspiration, soft tissue, and bone biopsy techniques and orthopaedic pain management procedures (fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided steroid and anesthetic injections).
