These radiotracers metabolize in the body and can be displayed as images and quantitative data of organ function. Nuclear Medicine imaging is metabolic and functional-based, and thus, it can identify disease in the early stages and provide information that cannot often be obtained using other imaging, such as CT or MRI. Who We Are The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging consists of clinical faculty who are double board-certified in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology. What We Offer We offer advanced imaging technology combined with expert interpretation. Our team conducts a wide variety of procedures and therapies, combining individualized care and specialty expertise. Our Services Include: PET/CT – Positron Emission Tomography SPECT/CT – Single Photon emission Computerized Tomography (SPECT) Gamma Camera imaging Radiopharmaceutical therapy and lymphoscintigraphy Clinical Conditions We Address Nuclear medicine helps to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions such as cancer, heart disease and infection. We provide expert diagnosis and treatment, including: Cancer imaging and therapy Cardiac and vascular imaging Skeletal and bone imaging Dementia imaging Parkinson’s disease imaging (DaTscan) Neuroendocrine tumors imaging Hepatobiliary imaging GI and GI bleeding imaging Renal and GU imaging Infection imaging Pulmonary imaging Thyroid imaging and therapy of thyroid disorders Parathyroid imaging Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Faculty June M.
