Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (NMMI) is a field of medicine that utilizes a small amount of radioactive material (radiotracers) to assess the function of various organs and treat a wide range of disorders. These radiotracers metabolize in the body and can be displayed as images and quantitative data of organ function.

Nuclear Medicine imaging is metabolic and functional-based, and thus, it can identify disease in the early stages and provide information that cannot often be obtained using other imaging, such as CT or MRI.

Who We Are

The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging consists of clinical faculty who are double board-certified in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology.
