Photography Service Options

All photographs, whether taken internally or by an approved vendor, should adhere to a consistent visual identity, branding and professionalism that align with the representation standards of UC Irvine and UCI Health. Three photography service options offer access to professional photography and personalized sessions.

Free Campus Portrait Service

Available to all UC Irvine students, faculty, alumni and staff. The Division of Career Pathways offers a free professional photo booth for various professional uses. The booth operates on a self-service, walk-in basis from Monday to Friday, with no appointment necessary.

Clinical Faculty Portraits

Official clinical faculty portraits can be scheduled at the UCI Health Physician Portrait Studio, located at 3800 W. Chapman Ave., Suite 2400, Orange, CA 92868. Appointments must be made via their booking site. For more information, please call (714) 509-2165. Please note that residents and fellows are not eligible.

From faculty looking for new headshots or photos of their research labs to departments seeking to refresh their photo inventory, we can help organize on-site photo sessions.

To get started, contact the School of Medicine Communications Office at somcomms@hs.uci.edu with your project details, including the:

  • type of photos you are seeking
  • number of individuals you would like photographed
  • location
  • timeframe

We will review your request and direct you to the appropriate resource.
