This is an opportunity to experience research as an intern under the direct supervision of an eligible faculty member in the School of Medicine. Students have the opportunity to participate and gain hands-on experience in biomedical research settings. We welcome all students interested in this opportunity and look forward to having you in our labs during the fall, spring, winter and summer quarters. Program Overview Eligibility To be eligible for the Scientific Clinical Research Internship Program, you must fall into one of the three student categories listed below: Non-UC Irvine undergraduate students High school students (Must be 16 or older) UC Irvine Undergraduate students (summer term ONLY) Program Length Student assignment periods may range from a minimum of one (1) month to twelve (12) months. The exact duration of the program will be influenced by the classification of students, such as non-UC Irvine undergraduate, high school student or UC Irvine undergraduate (summer term ONLY). Conduct Research in One of Our School of Medicine Departments Students who are interested in joining SCRIP may reach out to the following departments in search of a lab they would like to conduct research in.
