The UCI Department of Dermatology is pleased to offer a Diversity Visiting Student Scholarship to a visiting student in need of financial assistance to attend our dermatology clerkship. We will offer $2,500 for travel- and/or housing-related costs associated with attending the clerkship.

We are committed to promoting diversity, health equity and inclusion in medicine. In support of increasing the number of visiting medical students from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine (URIM) who attend our dermatology clerkship, we invite rising fourth-year medical students to apply for the scholarship.

Through the application, students should demonstrate how their background and experience help to promote an environment of inclusive excellence.

The deadline to apply is April 7, 2025.
