UC Irvine medical students and visiting medical students are invited to schedule an elective rotation with the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation for a period of two or four weeks on 670A (inpatient) or 670B (outpatient).

The Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency is an advanced, three-year ACGME-accredited program with diverse clinical training and a comprehensive curriculum.

The UC Irvine School of Medicine and Veterans Affairs Long Beach Spinal Cord Injury Medicine (SCIM) Fellowship is a one-year, ACGME-accredited clinical program based at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System.

Spinal Cord Fellowship Program

The UC Irvine School of Medicine and Rady Children’s Hospital Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellowship is a two-year, ACGME-accredited clinical program based at San Diego’s Rady Children’s Hospital.

Rehab Academic and Mentorship Program (RAMP) for Undergraduates

The UC Irvine Rehab Academic and Mentorship Program (RAMP) is a two-week intensive program for undergraduate students interested in rehabilitation services as a career, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
