Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UC Irvine School of Medicine.

As a leading academic department, we are at the forefront of clinical research and discovery, translating scientific advances into better outcomes for our patients. We are also proud to offer nationally recognized residency and fellowship training programs in Complex Family Planning, Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Obstetric and Gynecologic Hospital Medicine and Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, preparing future leaders in women's healthcare.

Our multidisciplinary teams provide specialized care for some of the most complex and vulnerable patient populations, while advancing innovative programs in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), Menopause and Midlife Health, Cardio-Obstetrics, Global Women's Health and Space Medicine.
