The Division of Infectious Diseases provides excellent outpatient and inpatient care for patients with suspected or known infectious diseases, including meningitis, osteomyelitis, sepsis, fever of unknown origin and opportunistic infections such as those associated with prematurity, malignancy, HIV or primary immunodeficiency.

Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship

In partnership with Children's Health of Orange County (CHOC), UCI School of Medicine offers a fully-accredited, three-year Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship training program, providing fellows diverse clinical and educational experiences in pediatric infectious diseases, including fundamental laboratory, infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship skills.
