A research team led by UCI School of Medicine Associate Professor Fawaz Al Ammary, MD, PhD, conducted a retrospective study investigating the factors associated with the steady decline of biologically related living kidney donations in the United States over the past twenty years and what efforts can be taken to break down barriers to these types of donations.
