UCI Health Kidney Transplant Program marks 200 transplants for year
The UCI Health Kidney Transplant Program, the oldest and largest program in Orange County, celebrated a remarkable milestone this year, with its 200th transplant in February. Robert R. Redfield III, MD, FACS, professor of surgery at UCI School of Medicine and division chief of transplantation in the Department of Surgery at UCI Health, credits the medical staff for their dedication, hard work and commitment.
