News & Events: 2024 Match Day and Simulation Instructor Course

Another successful Match Day ceremony was held on Friday, March 15 on the lawn of the Medical Education Building. This is the special day when graduating medical students across the country find out where they will be going for the residency. Watch the recap video and share in their celebration of our own students as they find out where they will begin their journey as doctors.

On Tuesday, May 7, the Medical Education Simulation Center will host a full-day Simulation Instructor Training Course. This is a great, hands-on opportunity for those interested in using simulation as a teaching tool to learn about the theory of patient simulation, debriefing strategies and curriculum design. This course is mandatory for anyone who would like to teach simulation sessions. To register, use the training course registration form. For more information, contact: mededsim@uci.edu.

Follow the Zot Quality Improvements in the monthly Medical Education newsletter for additional updates that support our students.
