About Me
Professional Interests: My professional interests and goals include using my background as a first-generation URiM physician in promoting diversity equity and inclusion within medicine. I would like to strengthen my ability to achieve this goal by pursuing a medical education fellowship and working within an academic institution.
Why UCI? It is impossible not to think of UCI when considering a strong academic emergency medicine program committed to serving the marginalized patient population of Orange County. I believe UCI strives to recognize the social determinants of health within the community while providing quality, culturally competent care. Through the mentorship provided by the phenomenal faculty at UCI, I can achieve my dreams.
