The Division of General Internal Medicine & Primary Care is one of the largest divisions within the Department of Medicine at the UCI School of Medicine. The division consists of six different entities spread across individual locations on the UCI campus (Irvine, Calif.), UCI Medical Center (Orange, Calif.) and the Veterans Administration Medical Center (Long Beach, Calif.). It is the academic home for over 40 faculty members, focusing on clinical expertise, medical education, and basic, clinical, and translational research.
