An automated, bilingual, computerized alcohol screening and intervention health tool is effective in reducing alcohol use among Latino ER patients in the U.S., according to a UCI-led study. Federico E. Vaca, MD, MPH, professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine was the lead author in this study that was published online in JAMA Network Open.
