UCI awarded Department of Energy grant to accelerate biomanufacturing and advance the U.S. bioeconomy
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Bioenergy Technologies Office and the National Science Foundation (NSF) have selected a joint project between the University of California, Irvine, Henry Samueli School of Engineering and School of Medicine, University of California, Davis, and Argonne National Laboratory researchers for funding. The project will receive $1.5 million in funding over the next three years to accelerate biomanufacturing innovation and help advance the U.S. bioeconomy.
