LCME Accreditation Survey Visit

January 26–29, 2025

The UCI School of Medicine 2025 Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) Accreditation Survey Visit will take place January 26–29, 2025. 

The UCI School of Medicine offers one of the top medical education programs in the United States. The institution was first accredited in 1961 and received its most recent full eight-year reaccreditation in 2017 by LCME, the national accrediting organization for U.S. and Canadian medical education programs. LCME accreditation is a peer-reviewed study conducted to determine whether a medical education program meets established standards. This quality assurance process is an opportunity for self-study and reflection that can foster improvements to our programs and institution.
