Congratulations to Yulian Khagi, MD, MBA, assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology & Oncology, and Zhina Sadeghi, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Urology, on being named recipients of the Spring 2025 Rising Stars Award. A celebratory luncheon was held on May 7 to honor their exceptional achievements. During the event, Khagi and Sadeghi shared highlights of their career journeys and accomplishments with leaders from the School of Medicine and UCI Health. The Rising Stars program, established in 2019 through a collaboration between the School of Medicine and UCI Health, recognizes outstanding junior faculty who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to research, clinical care and community engagement.
