UCI Radiological Sciences at AAR 2025 Posted: 2025-04-09 Source: Department of Radiological Sciences News Type: Features & Briefs share Association of Academic Radiology (AAR) 2025 Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, California This year, the Annual Meeting of the Association of Academic Radiology (AAR) for 2025 took place at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California, in early March. The UCI Radiological Sciences Department is a proud partner of AAR and this year we had many faculty and trainees participate in the conference. Angellica Gordon, MD, selected for AAR Leadership Program Our resident, Angellica Gordon, MD, was selected to participate in the AAR Radiology Resident Academic Leadership Development Program. This program provides focused mentorship, leadership, and academic development activities to a group of high-potential second-year (PGY-3) diagnostic radiology residents in order to better prepare for their transition into successful careers as leaders in academic radiology. Faculty Highlights at AAR25 From Associate Professor Gelareh Sadigh, MD, to our department chair, Vahid Yaghmai, MD, our faculty members had a big showing at AAR 2025.
