Clemons Family Foundation donates $11 million to support advanced cancer research
The Clemons Family Foundation has pledged $11 million to support cancer research and provide capital funding for the under-construction Falling Leaves Foundation Medical Innovation Building and the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Ambulatory Care building at the UCI Health – Irvine complex on the University of California, Irvine campus.

UC Irvine School of Medicine associate professor awarded Inoue Prize for Science
Kei Igarashi, PhD, Chancellor’s Fellow and associate professor in the Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology, has been named one of five recipients of the 2024 Inoue Prize for Science. This award recognizes Igarashi’s outstanding achievement in memory and dementia research.
