Research and Clinical Innovations Recognized at ANESTHESIOLOGY 2026

The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care had a strong presence at the ANESTHESIOLOGY 2026 Annual Meeting, held October 12-20 in San Diego, California.

At the world’s largest global conference for anesthesiologists and perioperative care teams, the annual meeting brings together specialists from across the globe to share knowledge to advance clinical innovation, medical education and practice standards in operations and leadership.

Representing the department, a diverse group of faculty, residents, medical students and research collaborators contributed a total of 32 presentations ranging from Medically Challenging Cases (MCCs) and Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs), Scientific Abstracts, Oral Presentations and Clinical Forums. 

We are especially proud to highlight team members whose exceptional work earned top recognition from the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) review committees and panel editors.
