Congratulations to Edward Kuan, MD, associate clinical professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, and Valery Vilchez Parra, MD, assistant clinical professor in the Department of Surgery's Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery, on being named recipients of the Fall 2024 Rising Stars Award. A celebratory luncheon was held on Nov. 13 to honor their exceptional achievements. During the event, Kuan and Vilchez Parra shared highlights of their career journeys and accomplishments with leaders from the School of Medicine and UCI Health.
