Congratulations to the Dr. Lorna Carlin Scholar Awardees

The Office of Graduate Studies is pleased to announce the recipients of the Dr. Lorna Carlin Scholar Awards. These awards are made possible by the generosity of Lorna Carlin, MD, donor and longtime supporter of the School of Medicine’s graduate studies program. The School of Medicine matches the donor’s contribution to double the opportunities in support of the graduate students, with awards directly supporting student research and professional development.

Congratulations to Laraka Taniguchi, Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology (PI Tallie Z. Baram, MD, PhD), this year’s recipient of the top prize — the Dr. Lorna Carlin Scholar Award — which comes with $20,000 of support.
